We are all influenced by the fates and destinies of those who came before us, if we are aware of it or not. Family trauma from the past informs us in the present.
The Systemic Family Constellations work developed by German psychotherapist Bert Hellinger has accompanied me through my adult life. In my early twenties, while studying Holistic Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel, I read every book by Bert Hellinger about trans-generational healing.
I began to see myself in the greater context of my family of origin and my country of origin; the family trauma and the collective trauma.
When I moved to the United States, I studied the work in person and became a certified Systemic Family Constellation Facilitator in order to share this life-changing modality with others and reveal the hidden dynamics in the family system. Difficult fates and traumatic experiences in previous generations may continue to create havoc as a hidden pattern in the present generation.
I wanted to open the door for others to understand their yearnings, preferences and desires that propelled them forward. I understood the importance of receiving clarity about emotional blocks, aversions and discomforts and then releasing them. Trans-generational healing opens the door to an empowered new way of understanding who you are and how you move through the world.
Study your Family History and know who you are!
For me personally, I strongly feel the continuation of desires and yearnings birthed by my ancestors.
The questions that tormented me in my younger years are now answered, e.g. Why do I have a Hebrew name, even though I am not Jewish? Why did I never dare to have children? What is the reason for calling three countries my home: Germany, Israel, the USA? Why did I leave home? Why didn’t I stay married? Why did I have to go through major abdominal surgery? Why do I have such a mesmerizing relationship with money?
My generation followed the generation of the war children, the trauma and losses of my parents, grandparents and previous generations influence how I view the world.
The same is true for you! Your are influenced by your ancestors, either in a positive or in a negative way.
Look at the questions that accompany you through your life, that you have never found the answers for. Which mental, emotional and physical patterns are you not able to release, even though you have tried everything?
Ancestral Healing may guide you to the Solution.
Systemic Family Constellations aim at breaking the cycle of family trauma and create a new, evolved and more conscious perception of reality for you and for the next generations. For me, it feels like shining the light into the shadow and then the shadow turns into light. The positive ripples of this work affect all aspects of your life and the destiny of your family! It is soul work.
