Join Dorit Brauer as she provides the education and the tools that you need to live your best life by optimizing your health and achieving an in-depth understanding between body, mind and spirit. The Guided Meditation is accompanied by a ‘Sound Bath’ – the relaxing sound of Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls – which induce alpha wave level activity of the brain, balance the hemispheres of the brain and resonate within every cell of your body, creating health, balance, and harmony. Please bring a mat and blanket and wear comfortable clothing.

Bio: Dorit Brauer is the founder and owner of the Brauer Institute for Holistic Medicine. She began her Holistic Medicine career in the US at the Center for Integrative Medicine at UPMC in 1998. In 2016, she received the Immigrant Entrepreneur Award by Global Pittsburgh in recognition of her achievements and enriching the Pittsburgh region with her talent and tenacity since her arrival.

This program takes place outdoors. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. Pittsburgh Botanic Garden has topography, but most hills are moderate. Walking to and from the sound bath meditation area is about 1 mile or less. Be sure to bring a mat and/or blanket and/or folding chair for grassy places.
